Wow!  On top of everything else going on in this world, Cando's Helper Page is in trouble.  I have spent the last week trying to learn if I can fix the problems brought on by Adobe's Flash End of Life.  Most of the site was created with Flash as I was learning the program itself.  I talked to a Homestead tech person and really got no help there.  There are some things I can get working, but anything with interactivity or printing might have to be deleted.  I will keep trying my best to fix what I can and somehow let you know what has been fixed.  I will begin with the sight vocabulary page and see how much I can get working there.  Sorry this had to happen but of course, I had no control over this whole mess.  May you all stay safe and healthy through these trying times.

These will be trying times for many of us.  I'm hoping this site can be of some help for many of you.  We can all get through this by helping each other with a big dose of caring and kindness.

Good Day All,
 It has been awhile since I have added or worked on Cando's Page.  I just paid for another year on Homestead.  The site continues to be used by many of you.  This could be the last year that I am able to afford the site.  The other factor is how long I will be around to continue paying for the site.  When I go, there is nobody else.  Just a fact of life.
 In the meantime, I hope the site is a help to all of you who use it.

Just crossed over the 2 million mark on 
the sight vocabulary page.  It's surely the only thing that I will ever have 2 million of.  So glad that the page is being used by so many.  
I just added some more activities to the R-Controlled Vowel page.

I just added a set of calendars for the school year 2012-2013 on my Waterboro Elementary School Page found  at the bottom of this page.  I think they are generic enough to be used by others as well.  Check it out and see if you could use them.

Note:  A couple of users have written that they cannot find the Fry words vocabulary page.  I haven't moved or done anything to the page.  I suggest that you log on to this page and click on the link from here.  Once on the page, bookmark it for yourself.

Hope all is going well with all of you.  Haven't done much on the pages lately.  Busy with a number of other little projects.  
I continue to enjoy reading all of the comments on the guest book page.

Another school year ahead.  Funny how fast summer vacations seem to go.  Hope you all had a great summer.  Now it's time to get back to the classroom, or for some of you, the living room.
